The St. Agnes Carnival is the single largest fundraiser for the parish and occurs annually over the third full weekend in July. Carnival kicks off with a neighborhood parade on Wednesday and ends with the Hole-In-One finals on Sunday evening. Ten percent of the net proceeds benefit our Parish Outreach with the remainder being used for parish support and capital projects. The grand tradition of Carnival is planned, prepared and staffed entirely by volunteers: from the co-chairs to the executive committee, the grounds crew who turn a parking lot into a festival, to those who order, prepare and provide food and drinks, those who run the booths and work in them, to those who set up entertainment and sound, and those who work behind the scenes counting money, organizing sponsors, baking cakes, gathering prizes, stitching quilts, designing t-shirts, and selling chances, there is definitely a spot for EVERYONE. The parish is grateful for all of our Carnival volunteers and welcome all to join in the fun!!! Our co-chairs each commit to a three year term with staggered rotation yearly.
