Financial Policies Explained


Members and Non-members at Saint Agnes

An active Catholic family pays member tuition. The balance of the cost of educating a child is contributed by the parish. Member tuition will be instituted provided that each year a member family completes the annual stewardship intention card, listing donations of time, talent and treasure to the parish, and also demonstrates active parish membership by regular attendance at Mass, participation in religious, social, and outreach parish programs, and regular financial contributions to the Parish as indicated on the stewardship card. The stewardship card must be submitted by March 1st of each year in order to register at the member rate for the coming year.

Not-active families who have a Catholic child and who are not registered and active members of Saint Agnes or of any Catholic parish for at least three full months before the first day of school will pay not-active/ non-Catholic tuition for one full school year (from date of admittance) before being considered for member tuition. The parent and child must join the parish and become active parishioners (see above) upon acceptance into the school to be considered members who receive the member tuition rate.

A Catholic parishioner or non-parishioner parent with a child not baptized in the Catholic Church or not sacramentally current will pay inactive/non-Catholic tuition per child.

Not-Catholics pay non-member tuition.

Additionally

Many fees, including those for book rental and library fees are included in the tuition. At the time of summer registration in the June prior to the new school year, fees for FACTS Tuition, PTO, facilities/gym, cafeteria, yearbook, sacramental and other grade-specific expenses will be collected.

Tuition is paid either in total on July 1 prior to the beginning of the new school year or through automatic debit by FACTS Tuition, a third party tuition collection company, or on the first or 15th of each month, for eleven months, July-May of the active school year.

Tuition must be paid in full for the active school year by May 1 of that year in order for report cards, transcripts and other records to be made available.
