To foster communication and understanding among parents, teachers, and students. To encourage a more active interest and support of Catholic education. To support spiritual and academic growth for the students of St. Agnes.
The PTO utilizes over 200 volunteers. The PTO is the host of the annual Ice Cream Social at the school opening liturgy, Christmas Boutique held annually in November, and the Dinner/Auction held every other year. The PTO assists the school by providing a homeroom parent for each class, and providing assistance on the playground, and partners for classrooms. We began the stewardship program in each classroom and provide classroom start-up vouchers for teachers and staff.
The PTO provides social activities for the entire student body. We provide teacher and staff appreciation luncheons and monthly “treats,” and make ourselves available for hospitality at several school functions. The PTO operates uniform sales, the gift wrap fundraiser in September, assembles the school yearbook and many more activities.
The PTO funds have assisted the school with various school improvements such as the renovated science classroom, library, and individual classrooms. The PTO provided funds for computer technology upgrades, various educational speakers for the students, annual drama productions and visiting artists/authors. Participation at school events in any capacity requires Safe Environment training and a background check.
